Matilda Neunyi’s Birthday: July 15, 1993

Aspiring Cameroonian singer Matilda “Tilly” Neunyi widely known as Matilda was born on July 15, 1993 in Tiko. The Afropop singer is originally from Nguti subdivision in the South West Region; precisely the Mbo tribe. She attended the Catholic School New Town Limbe, G.H.S Limbe and obtained her Advanced Level certificate from Kulu Memorial Comprehensive High School Limbe. While in High School Matilda took part in the talent contest College Star World Competition.

In 2017, Matilda officially joined the music industry after signing with Masango Records. Her single “Avec Toi” brought her fame; other popular singles include “Heart-Mender” a song that was widely appreciated. She counts Charlotte Dipanda as her role model and inspiration. The songtress currently lives in New Town, Limbe.
