Locko’s Birthday: May 8, 1992

Charles Arthur Locko Samba popularly known as Locko, is an amazing and unique Cameroonian artist who was born on the 8th of May 1992 in Douala Cameroon. The artist is also a song composer, a beat maker of Afro pop and RnB. His singing career began when he was still a student in LBA in 2010. In the same year, he launched his YouTube account where he did lots of covers of popular musics which in return gave him popularity.

The official release of his first video clip was done in 2014 with the song titled Perfect Girl a collabo with Numerica in the Big dreams entertainment label. The following year, he released his first solo song titled Margo.From here, his EP was released in December 2015 with songs like Ndutu, * sawa romance*and many others which are songs much loved by Cameroonians. He later on had a collabo with Mr Leo *supporter* which brought him many honors.

He appeared on a show Coke Studio Africa in 2017 alongside other influential artists and gained the name the Cameroonian RNB revelationby the French magasin. In June 2018 he was part of the universal music African team.

Locko has had several nominations and accolades over the years and has won awards including best vocal and best Afro pop vocalist camee award. He was also nominated as the best new comer in the Afrima Awards.
