Yemi Eberichi Alade is a Nigerian song writer , singer, pop artist, actress and activist who was born on the 13th of March 1989 in Abia Nigeria. She is of Yoruba descent through her father James Alade who was a commissioner of Police and Igbo descent through her mother Helen Uzoma.
Dubbed the goddess of African Music; Yemi Alade was the winner of the Peak Talent Show in 2009. She later on signed to the Effyzzie Music Group and released her hit single Johny in 2014.
