Gabasky’s Birthday: January 29, 1989

Mohammed Qotb Abou Gabal Ali mostly known as Gabasky, is an Egyptian professional footballer who was born on the 29th of January 1989 in Asturias, Egypt. He started his career in 2010 with L’ENPPI club then moved over to the Egyptian club of Zamalek in 2013.

One of the most outstanding and overzealous players in the country, it is almonds impossible to easily score against the goal keeper.

On the 3rd of September 2011, Gabasky brings Vp out to Egypt against Sierra Leone prior to the qualifications for the AFCON 2012 with 2 goals to 1. Following this , the goal keeper kept having selections in and out of his birth country even during the AFCON 2022 he was chosen by Carlos Queiros to play the tournament. Through out the tournament, the goal keeper’s competence is highly visible as it is very evident to notice how devoted he plays thereby making it very difficult to score him.

His competence alongside that of his team members give them that opportunity to be able to get to the finals where he struggles but unfortunately receives a kick from Sadio Mane, making Senegal the AFCON finals of 2021 which was a very heavy defeat to Egypt because they didn’t see it coming. This feeling was due to the glories the country has always had when it comes to African football; known as one of the best countries and all time highest Afcon winner.

The goal keeper is known for his strict vigilance, intelligence and wise tactics. Also, his height and body structure are all aspects that work in his favor and permit him give out amazing performances. He looks physically strong and portrays lots of energy and speed.
