Christian Mougang Bassogog who was born on the 18th of October 1995 in Douala Cameroon is a Cameroonian professional footballer who plays for Shanghai Shenhua a Chinese super league club and also the Cameroonian national team.

Nicknamed Chinese Billion,Christian began his career in Cameroon then Later on joined the United Soccer league club in 2015 in United States on the 29th of April 2015. Joined Danish side AaB on 29th September 2015.

February 19th 2017, AaB announced Bassagog’s Departure for a fee of about £5 million to be part of the Chinese side Henan *Jianye FC *. Breaking the club record transfer fee ever. He later signed with Shanghai Shenhua FC.
