Bailly Larinette Tatah, professionally known as Blanche Bailey, was born on the 8th of August 1995 in Kumba, Cameroon; of Bamilike origin. She is an Afro pop singer, song writer and actress. Her official single kam we stay of August 2016 welcomed her into the music scene and from here the singer has been considered as one of Africa’s best.
Bailly was born into a religious family and attended school at Sacred Heart Kumba Southwest region and later on did her secondary education in the Baptist secondary school- KANG Barombi and diligent bilingual college Kumba before she moved to France with her family when she was twelve years old.
While in France, she decided to continue her dreams of becoming a performer and recoding artist but since it wasn’t fruitful, the artist relocated to the UK. While here, she met a Cameroonian artist who linked her up to her first studio session. By 2015, Bailey released her first single Killa produced by Ayo beats.
Moving back to Cameroon she came in contact with song writers and producers who assisted her. Mr Elad who wrote the lyrics for kam we stay, Phil beat who was her producer. Following this, she did other collabos and continued dropping singles that gave her more recognition and admiration.
Blanche Bailley’s hard work has earned her lots of national and international awards like best Female Central African artist. The artist is also referred to as Cameroon’s Nicki Minaj because of her natural endowments, clean skin and charismatic nature.
