Blanche Bilongo’s Birthday: January 26, 1974

Born on the 26th of January 1974 in monatele, Bilongo is an actress who originated from Angoumou, a village in the center region of Cameroon.Bilongo started her artistic career in 1987 when she was 11 years old. She was so much interested in her school dancing group and also visited those at the theatrical hall once in a while. One day when she visited like she always does, the lead actress of a movie wasn’t present so she opted for it and everyone was amazed by her performance and that was how her acting career started.

The artist finished her studies in the university of Yaoundé II Soa then later on began internships as a makeup artist and also a special effect artist, which she did with the national tv station CRTV.

Her popularity came about in 2004, 2005, thanks to the series N”taphil where she played the role of a villager , a role that evoked a lot of sympathy. Later on, the talented actress had lots of opportunities to act in many popular movies in the country alongside many actors like Stephane Tchonang, Hortavie Mpondo and others. The artist said through an interview that actors are not well paid in the country like an example she quoted about the minister giving 7million for a movie production, she wonders how much the actors are to gain.
As a musician, she sang a song titled le temps de Dieu in memory of her late parents. She later on released other pieces that talk more about her parents and how she seems to appreciate all their sayings and doings in her life.
