Chioma chukwuka is a Nigerian actress , director and movie producer who was born on the 12th of March 1980 in Nigeria. She comes from Anambra states Nigeria and did her primary education in Lagos state then moved to federal government girl’s college in Onitsha for her secondary education. She then moved over to Lagos state university where she studied banking and finance.

Chioma’s acting career began in 2000. In 2007 she received the best actress in a lead role award at the African movie acadamy awards for the movie sins of flesh. The actress has stared in more 350 Nigerian movies, produced about six movies and has won many awards.

In November 2018, she became the brand ambassador for Erisco foods . Still in November 2018 , she has served as brand ambassador for a lot of Nigerian and international brands like Globacom Nigeria , {a telecommunication company}, omo detergent and others.

Chioma Akpotha married Franklyn Akpotha since 2006.
In January 2019, she announced the launch of a capacity building platform titled *master class with chioma *where aspiring actors are taught by film makers , screen writers and other movie personnels who teach aspirants what it takes to mount a set. The actress is also known and loved because of her exceptional jovial and comic nature.
