Joseph Akinwale who is mostly known as Jeoboy , is a Nigerian song writer and musician who was born on the 21st of May 1997 in Lagos Nigeria. He was discovered by the popular and calm Mr. Eazi in 2017. The artist’s music genres are Afro pop and RnB.

In 2019 , Joeboy won best artist in African post the African music awards.The artist was also nominated for many awards like the multiple people city entertainment and others.His single call which was released on the 10th of April 2020 is a love song that enlightened the public and made people grow interest in the artist.

Unfortunately on the 22nd of October 2022 a singer called Aka, issued a copy-write infringement notice to joeboy over his release Contour, saying she was the one who had originally composed the song. The artist then demanded that the sum of 300 million Naira be paid to her as she handed a 24hour ultimatum for the song to be removed from all streaming platforms. Through her team, she required that a 60% copy-write recognition be given not leaving out a written apology , which were all found in the notice she and her team had sent to the artist. Despite this misunderstanding , the artist nevertheless remains a talent to be proud of so far as Nigerian music is concerned.
