Azeez Adeshina Fashola mostly known as Naira Marley, is a Nigerian singer who was born on the 10th of May 1991 in Badagry Nigeria. He is part of the record label Moves Recording and his genres of music are hip hop music, Afro pop and Afro beats.
Marley graduated from pekham academy with a distinction in business law at cross way college. While growing up he had plans of becoming an MC and voice over artist. He started singing in 2014 after discovering his passion for music and got encouragement from friends.
In December 2017, he released an assisted single olamide and Lil kesh *Issa goal* which was the theme for the *super eagles* at the 2018 Fifa World Cup. The artist sings in pidgin, English and Yoruba and his songs are a blend of hip hop and Afro beats. He got his stage name from Bob Marley the Jamaican singer whom he admires and also has dreadlocks just like the singer. His dreadlocks are also a tribute to the talented singer.
In 2019 Naira Marley jointly released a track with Zlatan titled *Am I a yahoo boy*and was arrested that same day. When he was released he released another track titled *Soapy*on the 27th of June 2019. On the 11th of January 2020, he won viewers choice for soapy at the 2020 sound city MPV awards.
During the Marlian fest the artist announced the launch of his record label Marlian records and unveiled CBLvck, Zinoleezky, Mohbad, and Fabian Blu as signed artists.
The artist who is much loved for his unique artistic style and new dance steps is much admired by his followers and he has been able to win many awards as he keeps releasing tracks marking his consistency.
