Cameroonian actress, producer, model and philanthropist, Ekah Stephanie Tum was born on the 2nd of December 1987 in Bamenda, Cameroon. A native of Wum, department of Menchum. She started her acting career in 2009. Stepanie Tum rose to fame after fearing in the movie Pink Poison directed by Agbor Gilbert in 2011. Since then she has been featured in some of Cameroon’s top movies. One of her productions include the movie Saving Mbango.
In 2018, she launched the EMBI company Ltd which she is its founder and CEO, where she produces movies and runs a charity foundation to sensitize young girls on menstrual hygiene and also distributes free sanitary pads to young ladies. According to publications made by Journal Cameroon her company was to distribue 10,000 sanitary pads by the end of 2019 in anglophone Cameroon communities.
From 2010 to 2015, she was brand ambassador for Active Clear, she has been listed as one of the Most Influential Cameroonians under 49years in the entertainment industry and thanks to her stunning beauty Stephanie Tum was ranked 14th amongst the top 50 Most Beautiful Cameroonian Women by Cameroon’s online entertainment portal Camer237.com.
