Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe, popularly known as Wande Coal is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who was born on the 18th of October 1985 in Lagos Island. He did his primary and secondary education in Lagos and later attended the University of Lagos where he studied Human Kinetics.

His artistic dream started when he was still a teenager as he joined his church choir. His popularity first started as a dancer then he later signed under Don Jazzy’s Mo hits record in 2006. His first single Ololufe had gotten the recognition of being one of the best love songs to be ever written by a Nigerian.
The artist who has done many songs has also done recording tracks with prominent artist like Phyno, Davido and others. In 2012 after a fall out between Don Jazzy and Dbanj, Coal registered under Don Jazzy’s Marvin Records but he later left the record label on the 7th of November 2013.

In 2020 he released a single track titled Again which was a mind blowing release produced by Melvitto. The following year, he released another single Come My Way.

The artist has won many awards including, African artist of the year in the Ghana Music Awards of 2010, Hip Hop World Award 2010 and also best RnB Pop Single artist. Wande Coal has an estimated net worth of $2.9 million US dollars.
